Dr Edwina Armati
Senior Veterinarian Surgeon
Edwina has had a lifelong passion for animals and has dedicated her career to providing exceptional veterinary care for pets and the people who love them.
She graduated from the University of Sydney with Second Class Honours and went on to become a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists after completing her Membership examinations in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
Edwina’s professional interests include challenging medical cases, building long-term relationships with clients, and delivering compassionate, personalised care. She particularly enjoys working with pet owners to help them understand their pet’s condition and make informed decisions about their care. She also has a well-earned reputation for handling even the most reluctant feline patients with calm confidence.
Outside of work, Edwina is a busy mum to two boys and shares her home with her husband, Mitch and Macca- two of Vetmed’s rescue cats, as well as Ralph their Standard poodle.
When asked what she enjoys most about being a veterinarian, Edwina says, “I genuinely love coming to work every day. It’s incredibly rewarding to help pets recover and to see the relief and happiness on their owners’ faces. Just as important to me is building relationships with clients—taking the time to listen, explain, and support them throughout their pet’s journey.”
